Dr. Eggman is tired of Sonic always ruining his plans, so he invents a new robot army. Meanwhile, tension starts rising between Sonic and Blaze, because Sonic's been slacking off and Blaze secretly cares about him, so he wants him to live up to his potential. As Sonic and Blaze learn to understand each other better, their bond grows.
