Things felt gray and static, for once Stan's mind was silent as he worked on his task. He walked down the aisle and lit more and more plants on fire. As silently as he felt, Stan threw the lighter in the growing flames and took off for a hike in the nearby mountains. Maybe this would shut his parents up once and for all. Not like Stan had anything else to lose.
