This story is a spin-off from How I Became Lightning, and is set after the events from that story. Lightning and his friends are looking forward to the 2020 Piston Cup season, but then a world-wide health crisis strikes. Is Lightning's dream of winning his 8th Piston Cup in jeopardy?
