[RL/HG] Rodolphus was tortured and transformed at a very early age for something the Lestranges could not abide: having feelings for a mere Muggle. They subjugated him, bound him in wedlock to a madwoman that he despised, murdered his Muggle love, and turned him into a Muggle-hating proper Lestrange. It did not end the way they had hoped. AU/EWE
