Cedric's mother Winifred the Wise comes for a visit at the same time the king, queen, and twins are leaving for a visit to another kingdom. As Sofia wishes to stay behind, Roland leaves the princess in Cedric's care. (A/N: This story is my first multi-chapter story in a VERY long time. Should be no more than 4 chapters.
