Jake has been getting home later and later each night and Dirk knows exactly why, to see her (Jane). Dirk passes out drunk every night and has been destroying himself since he found out. The two are barely able to keep it together and are in all honestly falling apart. This could very well be the end for them.

Dave gets visited by another Dave, one that's in not so good shape. This Dave tells him of how he messed up and how "well" things will go for Dave in the next two years. If the blood all over his body doesn't say enough about it then his words surely will. And word of advice, no Dave will tell a tale.
