Finding the light in a moment of darkness is one of the hardest things Sharon has had to do, but with Andy's help everything has become more tolerable. And of course, with an added surprise.
It's Christmas and Andy dressed up like Santa Clause for his grandkids. And someone else. Merry Christmas
A short sweet nothing full of fluffy fluff.
In the 5th installment of the Raydor Family series, Summertime brings about the heat and the tensions between people. The anticipation of new life, a wedding, and an issue at school causes more stress than what one would prefer.
Sharon finds that sleep is hard to come by, and is drawn to her foster son's room. I'm new to this, so please be kind. I'm going through withdrawals from the show, and have been drawn to some of your stories, and found myself bored and writing myself. :)
[Spoilers for "Return to Sender Part 1."] The first day was never going to be easy, but it's less awful than it could be when there are others around to help them through it.
Set between Rusty walking away from his mother and her late-night phone-call in S3.E4. An evening at home with Sharon and Rusty...
A one shot story inspired from the Major Crimes episode "Party Foul," S3/Ep12. Rusty asks Sharon a question that she never thought she'd ever have to answer.
A compilation of mini-fics written for prompts given to me on Tumblr and Facebook during the hiatus. I arranged them in an order that made sense, even though technically, they are not related, they are all about the stages of becoming a family.
As Sharon's marriage is deteriorating, she finds a way to show herself that her children will always need their mother's love.
A tragic event from Sharon's past resurfaces when she and Rusty are cleaning her parents' attic. Together, they have to deal with the people in their lives who abandoned them. Please read the trigger warning.
A one shot story inspired from the Major Crimes episode "Down the Drain," S3/Ep11. Andrea didn't like the change she saw in Sharon and began to wonder if the job was changing her lover, and not in a good way. Note to Readers: This story does not take place in my other Major Crime FF that is still incomplete. It is a stand alone short story.
Post - 3.11 tag. Rusty's thoughts as he runs out of the apartment after filling out the adoption papers, and some more thoughts down the road.
Sharon was really into Christmas. A tale of three Christmases, inspired by that holiday promo.
A fic inspired by my own moving adventure a few months ago. Hobbs/Raydor established couple.
Set during "Jailbait." Sharon and Rusty further discuss the benefits of therapy, and a little bit more backstory on Sharon.
"Sweetheart, if I'd known all you wanted was a backrub, we could have saved ourselves our current predicament," Andy whispers into my ear and makes me laugh. Our current predicament, as he so aptly calls it, is very visible now in a bump I can no longer disguise with loose tops and scarves. / COMPLETE
An episode tag to 3x07 - We know Sharon doesn't ask for anyone's permission to love who she chooses, but one day she receives more from Rusty than she had bargained for. This story is about saying yes and acknowledging the people we love.
The end of a hellish week has brought on a sense of elated relief that's hard to shake. A belated New Year's gala, Rusty's unexpected desire to go, and Provenza's efforts to keep his overexcited partner in check. Sharon's high spirits might invite some unintended consequences...
Sharon is struggling with what she needs to tell Rusty. She promised to never lie to him, but does she have all the facts? Will she lose him because of it? She can't and won't let that happen!
This is my first-ever contribution to the #ShandySundayHiatus #AUShandy challenge. Sharon and Andy take a walk down memory lane. Lots of fluff and happy feels.
Five times Sharon called Rusty her son. Mostly fluff.
"She pauses, eyes him critically. Takes in his height and his terrible haircut. Looks at her boy that is now a man, and decides that yes, he is most certainly old enough to hear this from her. It's about time she stopped wrapping her children in cotton wool and deluding herself." One-shot.
my thoughts on Rusty being caught in the middle of two Sharons during "Zoo Story"
The letter writer is dead and Phillip Stroh can't reach out to find another killer to target Rusty. The police detail is gone and threat level lowered. Despite this Sharon has difficulty releasing the reins of control. When Rusty makes a request, teen angst and drama ensue as does a mother's need to protect her child. Mothership is main focus of story.
Sharon makes a gesture toward Rusty that fills in one of the lost scenes from Medical Causes. I think that simple action changed the tone of things from then until now. Major Crimes and its characters are the property of James Duff, Warner Brothers and TNT. Boom. No copyright infringement intended.
Sharon has recovered from her cancer and now she can start her life over again. She can finally be happy in work, family, and in life. This is the sequel to My Son so if you haven't read it yet we would suggest you read it first. Cowritten with marymcsmile. Chapter 37, the final chapter, is now up!
Written for week 3 of #ShandySundayHiatus Marathon. Andy is babysitting his grand kids when someone unexpected shows up.
A grizzly case brings back memories that Sharon Raydor would rather forget, but she's the only one who holds the key. All the while she and Rusty try to adjust to life without the Stroh case hanging over them.
This is just a oneshot I imagined in my head about Emily returning to LA to visit her mother, and about why she came to visit. Is it just for fun, or is the finalizing of her parents' divorce the reason that brought her back to her hometown?
