After M's return to London after Bond briefly disappeared from the radar after his escape from Hemingway House.

1990. Ex-CIA and ex-DEA agent Ivar Bryce drops in on his old friend Damien Drake (agent 007 of MI6) at the request of Q, and is confronted by a rather loud (but small) surprise. Bright Star 'verse, featuring Baby Q (the Q from Skyfall when he was a baby, if you're not familiar with my 'verse).
"How can he be a spy? He spends his days sat at a desk!" She shrieked as soon as the news had settled in. Q smirked, continuing the hacking he was doing as he spoke back to her. "Your father would rather blow a desk up than sit at one, believe me on that front." NOW CONTINUED INTO SPECTRE
