A small airliner carrying over a dozen boys from the Bunker Hill Military Academy goes down in the Pacific Ocean, leaving the cadets and a wounded adult to wash up on the shores of a nearby island. Well, I needed some closure to the book, and I think so did everyone else. I couldn't find anything about the twins being alive or dead, so I used what I thought, which was that they are both dead.
