"My mother died there. My father doesn't talk about it. There is no grave. No memory. Nothing." - A little mind game how these words came about, what happened to Legolas mother and why Thranduil is the way he is. - Short version, I don't have time at the moment. I make no claims accuracy with the complete lore, but it just couldn't let go of me and I had to put it into words.
Allynna had enough problems of her own without dealing with a displaced, arrogant and grumpy King from another world. She reluctantly gives him refuge, her current plans shelved until she figures out a way to return her unwanted guest home. My first ever Tolkien fic, written for fun. AU. Rating: 'T' generally, but chose Mature just in case.
In the darkness of the remains of Erebor, a survivor writes of the destruction he sees before him.
The defeat of Smaug comes with a price that leaves Jeanne temporarily injured at the eve of a deadly battle between five armies. She finds herself separated from Thorin and more vulnerable than ever. She can no longer hide from her cold fate though and senses her death to be close and at the hands of a pale Orc.
In the battle to reclaim Moria for the lost people of Erebor, much happens. Thorin and his younger brother Frerin follow their crazed grandfather to war with the orcs within Moria, though they never could have guessed the consequences. Could this be what drove Thorin to act as he does? The loss of something precious can break a fractured heart, but in the end, stronger is the mend.
!Attention! Revised Recovery Upload from my YangHuiZhen Account! Fire and flame drive her into exile, spiders and orcs poison the outskirts of his kingdom. Worried about the fate of their people their paths cross several times until a dangerous quest will decide about the fate of all free people of Middle Earth.
Tauriel has nothing but despair and the hope that one day she will have faded away too, like a wilting flower longing for death. Kiliel angst, speculation of Tauriel does not die. [Short Drabble]
My take on what happened if Frerin had taken a elven wife that was Thranduil's sister and she pregnant and what the child would be.
Tauriel i Kili przeżyli Bitwę Pięciu Armii.
(One-Shot). When angels fall with broken wings, I can't give up, I can't give in. When all is lost and daylight ends I'll carry you and we will live forever, for ever. That is what Bilbo/John was determined to help his old friend from dying, but that would cause him to betray his new one. He would have to choose between a tragedy or a failed journey, for the good of everyone.
Fili and Kili's mother (Thorin's sister) Dís is awaiting the return of her family, but knows that the coming and going of Durin's Day with no word being sent is a bad omen. What has happened in Erebor, and when will Dís find out? As she waits, the dwarven lady remembers her sons' childhood, as well as the moment when she first realized she might have to let them go...
Prompt fic. AU. The King is dead. Long live the King.
"There were those who fought, and there are those who died, and there are those whose task it is to remember." Bilbo's perspective, post Battle of the Five Armies. SPOILERS, obviously-canon character deaths, sadness and angst. NO SLASH, at all, EVER.
The Orc's surprised us with their attack and where able to break into our borders. We where able to drive them away but not before our blood was shed.
La bataille des cinq armées... ou la bataille qui changea le destin de trois héros.
While the Company of Thorin Oakenshield's fourteenth member was a burglar, its fifteenth was a dragonslayer, a soldier from a far away land with the ability to bend fire.
Bard faces Smaug after what he did to his daughter.
Prompt fic. Death fic. AU. Kíli is dead and the whole world smells of apples.
"Time cannot heal all the wounds of the heart." Thranduil informed her. "In those times, you can only learn to live with the pain." Eventual Thranduil/OC paring. Set before and during The Hobbit.
sonfic/one-shot/AU This is a quick, sad little piece about what may have happened, had Tauriel not reached Kili in time to heal him, and he died in front of her. It is based on the song "Say Something" by A Great Big World. Read and review if you are so obliged :)
Kili's last thoughts as he is dying and the end of the BOTFA. Contains flashbacks from Kili's side of things. No slash just brotherly love
"It seemed to Thorin that everyone he loved would perish in dragon fire. But the cruelty of Time is nothing when compared to the cruelty of Hope." Thorin loses his only love in dragon fire and the ruins of a once-great kingdom. One-shot.
Erebor is reclaimed, and has been led in a time of peace by her beloved king. But none is more devastated than his brother when his reign ends.
"He does not remember when they fell. He only knows that they have fallen, and that darkness is theirs and his, the only thing they still share." Thorin POV, Battle of the Five Armies. Angst and tragedy and character death. And spoilers, obviously. No slash, ever.
Dale and Erebor were no more, the lines of Girion and Durin broken... OR: Kíli chews on Thranduil's hair.
The aftermath of the battle was not a joyous story. Many were dead, more were hurt and the alliance between Dwarves, Men and Elves was rocky and could be broken by the merest little thing. Goblins were still running around, a King was dying and a burglar was missing. This is the story of the three days after the battle, told by those who survived and those who would not.(slight AU)
The original ending I had planned for my Hobbit fic 'Auburn Fire' before my best friend ordered me to change it. You'll see why. Rated M like 'Auburn Fire' just to be on the safe side because it's a wee bit gross. Kiliel and angsty. Might want to read 'Auburn Fire' first but it does sort of work as a standalone one shot.
The royal pair is happy and all is good... is it? Why is Bilbo sneaking out without telling Thorin? Has he some terrible secret that he cannot expose even to his husband? Pairing: Bagginshield. Rated T for mild mentions of violence. Grab some tissues... R&R please.
"Who would ever marry you?" exclaimed Tauriel, her cheeks flushed and her eyes sparkling dangerously. "You're so FAT!" The secret to Legolas's angsty past. Rated T for mild violence and some sappiness. Dedicated to all those who have reviewed my story, A Reasonable Defence. :)
Nobody dies before their time.
