There was a certain expectation for what life after the war would look like for the Golden Trio. Things have a way of not going to plan though maybe in this case, the unanticipated is a greater reward. Or the one in which Hermione sees Ron in Diagon Alley years after their divorce and realizes that all of them got their happy ending after all.
