Auggie missed Annie, but one thing he couldn't deny is that life was a little bit easier without her around. Then again, Auggie never cared for the easy route.
A post S4 one-shot drawing on recent world events and inspired by my re-viewing of episode 2x07 "Half a World Away." Written in the S4 universe from my previous "Anderson Family" stories, but doesn't really require reading of those. Auggie reflects on Istanbul and Iraq as tensions rise again in the Middle East.

This is my idea of how Covert Affairs should end. It is a sequel to my previous story "Heart to Hearts Require Talking" (published May 22 through May 27, 2014). It consists of three chapters, but there are two versions of Chapter 3.
A simple transfer from one agency to another, a brush pass. It happens every day and on this day it would go so wrong and a death would affect Annie to the core. Because of tragedy Eyal was there once again to help Annie cope but the aftermath also proved Eyal needed a little help too.
Joan turned left instead of right when coming out of that jewellers, and Henry was crueller than anybody realised. Which prompts the start of a whole new adventure.
